What's new on the web
As a result of our release at the end of April 2025, we are pleased to introduce major changes in Fieldly’s web interface when it comes to time and travel reports! The purpose of these changes is to:
• Increase control and traceability of reports, both regarding invoicing and payroll status
• Reduce the number of clicks on the web to more easily get an overview of the reporting
• Simplify communication with colleagues when reports need to be corrected or added
• Provide greater clarity on how reports affect project finances
• Make Fieldly’s web even more user-friendly
As a Fieldly user, you will notice a new look and improved functionality in three views, for both time and travel.
1️⃣ When you are inside a time or travel report
• Directly in the report, you’ll see the total cost, total price, and profit margin
• Status of the report: is it approved, not approved, linked to an invoice, or already invoiced?
• Status regarding payroll approval and where in the approval chain(employee, manager, or payroll responsible)
2️⃣ Reports in the main menu
• All data you have permission to view is displayed directly, without the need to apply filters
• Financial columns have been added to allow tracking of profitability on each report
• Ability to sort and filter which columns you want to see
3️⃣ Payroll Approval & Time Report Overview
• Switch between payroll approval and time report overview, and send messages to employees directly from the views
• Hover over the approval boxes to see when and by whom reports were approved, as well as when they were exported
• Clickable rows
What's new in the app
1️⃣ New design in work list
Updated lists with higher contrast and improved readability
2️⃣ Fully redesigned Stopwatch
The old Start & Stop clock is now called Stopwatch, with improved features for starting and stopping time, tracking work hours and breaks, and generating a time report when you're done
